The Grand Mélange is Cellar Beasts expression of the Right Bank Bordeaux style, meaning Merlot dominated and supported by a few of the other traditional Bordeaux varieties. Consulting Winemaker Mark Pagliaro leads this program with utmost attention to detail and capturing perfect balance in every vintage. The primary Merlot fruit for this wine hail from the Scooteney Flats Vineyard around 650ft above sea level in the Red Mountain AVA. This is not bashful or fruit forward Merlot. It is a powerful yet elegant expression of balance in big red varieties from one of the best AVA's on the west.

The Cabernet Sauvignon in this blend is sourced from the esteemed Quintessence Vineyard in Red Mountain, the same used in our Midnight Archer. Grand Mélange captures the essence of Bordeaux and Napa reds, inspired by Mark Pagliaro's passion for old-world wines.
