Our 2022 Chardonnay Reserve by Cellar Beast offers a crisp and refined taste, perfect for any occasion. With our special release of unfiltered 2022 vintage of Chardonnay Reserve, our winemakers attained the balance of flavors from the chardonnay grapes, oak, and a soft hint of butter. A focused finish with partial malolactic fermentation results in a kiss of butter toffee, stopping well short of the Napa Valley style movie theater butter. The blend of new and neutral French Oak barrels accomplishes micro-oxidation during aging and imparts vanilla and caramel notes without stealing the spotlight.

Winemaker's Notes
Chardonnay was an early love for me and must for our Cellar Beast winemaking program. In my opinion this is one of the hardest wine to get perfect and every year is a pursuit of capturing the perfect balance to allow Chardonnay to showcase it full complexity without any one element overpowering the others. Our Chardonnay is balancing act of keeping the fruit characteristics alive while building a creamy full palate and just a kiss of new oak, again all these elements working in perfect harmony.
