Winemaker: Matt Check, Head Winemaker
Our Gewürztraminer is grown in the Yakima Valley AVA, where warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to ripen fully while preserving natural acidity. This balance creates a wine with bright aromatics, floral depth, and a refined structure.
Unlike many Gewürztraminers from the Finger Lakes, which lean toward a sweeter profile, our meticulous approach—featuring cold fermentation and careful yeast selection—ensures a dry, crisp finish that enhances food pairings.
Gewürztraminer shares its heritage with Roter Traminer, Savagnin Blanc, Traminer Musqué, and Traminer Aromatico, all originating from the town of Tramin—the birthplace of this aromatic grape variety.
Sourced from Meek Vineyard in Yakima Valley, this Cabernet Franc wine is a tribute to the Loire Valley style. Bursting with crushed violets, dark fruit, and a meaty depth, it’s crafted by Head Winemaker Matt Check. Enjoy now or cellar for 10+ years. A true passion project—experience it today!
Aging Potential – Built to drink now but will age beautifully for 10+ years, evolving in depth and character.
Art Meets Wine – Label artwork by Assistant Winemaker Aaron Gratch, reflecting the creativity behind every bottle.
Handcrafted & Small-Batch – Made with meticulous care, ensuring each bottle represents the highest quality.

Located within the Yakima Valley AVA wine region, the vineyards benefit from a combination of warm days and cool nights, fostering optimal ripeness while preserving natural acidity. The unique soil composition and climate of Yakima Valley contribute to the wine’s distinct floral characteristics. Our meticulous approach ensures that this Gewürztraminer wine captures the essence of its varietal, offering a true reflection of the terroir and a homage to the classic Alsatian style. Gewurztraminer, Roter Traminer, Savagnin Blanc, Traminer Musqué, and Traminer Aromatico hail from the same Traminer aromatic grape family and share many of the same characteristics. Some of the sister varietals can highlight more fruit components like passion fruit, other tropical fruit and some even have notes of actual ginger.
This gewurztraminer wine grape is more commonly made as a sweet style into a sweet wine or dessert wine on the East Coast of the United States, but through careful yeast selection and cold fermentation, our winemakers have captured the floral aromas and distinctive aromas delivering an outstanding wine with near zero residual sugar levels.
