It’s made from the deep Yakima Valley, WA, near Benton City, WA, at Meek Vineyard at 600ft above sea level and has a slightly earthier character than the estate vineyards of Napa Valley. Combined with the cooler climate nights, warmer climate daytime, and dry climate zone, this vineyard allows the Merlot to ripen perfectly while retaining the optimal level of acidity to make an enviable expression of this noble red varietal.
